Chasing fantasies feels different from chasing goals or passions. Fantasies are about wish fulfillment. Goals require work. Passion? Perhaps it requires a commitment to virtue. Having an agenda is notably different than having a goal. It’s okay to switch between being closed or open-minded, just realize it’s a gradient (not a switch), and you can toggle the lights.

The rhizome is an imminent process that allows us to question hierarchical organization. To think with the rhizome is to give up, at least for a little, beginnings and endings. Rhizomes are always in the middle, aka “intermezzo.”
Instead of thinking in terms of roots and branches, the rhizome represents a network of interconnected and interdependent nodes. This concept is often used to challenge traditional hierarchical structures and to promote a more decentralized and fluid way of understanding the world.
