Iterative Development” I love that.

What I Google on Saturday night:
‘The Judgement tarot card symbolizes spiritual awakening, transformation, and absolution. It encourages self-reflection and evaluation to make life-altering decisions. In readings, it is a reminder of the importance of honesty, communication, and intuition in achieving personal growth.’ - How Stuff Works

Do I stay or do I go? Always stay with yourself. Do not go if it means abandoning you.

Chasing fantasies feels different from chasing goals or passions. Fantasies are about wish fulfillment. Goals require work. Passion? Perhaps it requires a commitment to virtue. Having an agenda is notably different than having a goal. It’s okay to switch between being closed or open-minded, just realize it’s a gradient (not a switch), and you can toggle the lights.

‘Aikido is a Japanese martial art that effectively utilizes joint locks, throws, strikes, and pins to neutralize an attacker. Through circular movement and advantageous position, techniques redirect the force of aggression to harmonize with the encounter. Aikido was designed to be a humane method of self-defense. It redirects the force of the attacker and then controls the attacker with joint manipulation or a throw, and it is very painful if resisted by the attacker. Strict Aikido has no offensive techniques.’

In dwelling, live close to the ground.
In thinking, keep to the simple.
In conflict, be fair and generous.
In governing, don’t try to control.
In work, do what you enjoy.
In family life, be completely present.
- Tao Te Ching

We shape clay into a pot,
but it iis the emptiness inside
that holds whatever we want.
- Tao Te Ching

“A lot of people think that they're writers, but they don't actually write. If you're a professional guitarist, you are picking that instrument up and playing it every day, but there are people who think they’re writers without practicing. You just have to be on the keyboard, banging away. Writing is just manual labor, there's no thinking involved. The thinking comes later. You just make the words — the secret sauce is the editing, the chopping, and reworking.“ - McKenzie Wark in passerby

The rhizome is an imminent process that allows us to question hierarchical organization. To think with the rhizome is to give up, at least for a little, beginnings and endings. Rhizomes are always in the middle, aka “intermezzo.”

Instead of thinking in terms of roots and branches, the rhizome represents a network of interconnected and interdependent nodes. This concept is often used to challenge traditional hierarchical structures and to promote a more decentralized and fluid way of understanding the world.
